A female student of the University of Ghana has died after jumping from the fourth floor of Akuafo Hall of University of Ghana.
The female student who was identified as Jennifer Nyarko is said to be a student of consumer science in level 400.
From sources, the lady was said to be suffering from some kind of mood-swing and hadn’t been to lectures the whole of last week.
It is unclear what might have caused the incident. Police officers from the Legon Police station this morning took the motionless body to the hospital. Jennifer was confirmed dead upon arrival with deep cracks on her skull upon arrival in the hospital.
The body is now deposited in the mortuary with the police investigating into the cause of the incident.
According to one of the eye witnesses, they saw the lady lying down in a pool of blood in from of her residence Akuafo Annex A this morning and alerted the porters.
The porters later called the police who came and picked the body to the hospital.
