The University Teachers Association of Ghana, UTAG, has expressed shock at the decision by the authorities of the University of Education, Winneba to temporarily close down the School.

The Secretary of the Winneba Branch of the Association, Samuel Atinonu told GBC`s George Asekere on Behind the News that the decision came to UTAG, and indeed the almost 46, 000 student body as a surprise, but the way out of the predicament will be found when the school re-opens tomorrow, June 16 where a meeting is scheduled to deliberate on the inherent problem of the university.
