A 22-year-old level 400 female student of the University of Ghana, Legon has died while seeking medical attention at the Korle Bu Teaching hospital.
She passed on yesterday April 26, 2017.
Vida Akrong was an agric student and a member of the Dr. Hilla Liman Hall.
According to a friend of the deceased, ” She was admitted for some time and discharged. Later on she was coughing severely and sent to korlebu. She was there for days and God called her home on Tuesday at around 10:40 am”
The deceased reportedly celebrated her 22 birthday in March 2017. The body has since been deposited at the mortuary.
Vida is a former student of the Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School in the Central region.
The deceased was a final year student of University of Ghana, Legon and left with just a few weeks to complete her university of Ghana education
