CUT OFF POINTS

Cut off points 2021 is aggregate 30. Applicants are to have credit passes (A1-C6) in three core subjects including Core mathematics and English. Credit passes in two elective subjects (A1-C6) would also be considered in calculating the cut off points.
So in effect, three core subjects and two elective subjects would be used to calculate the Cut off points 2021 which is aggregate 30.

Below are the various admission requirements or entry requirements since the cut off point is mostly not highly relied on.

  1. WASSCE /SSSCE Qualification Applicants

The general requirement for admission to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Programme is as follows:

  1. WASSCE Holders: CREDIT (A1-C6) in Six (6) subjects comprising Three(3) Core subjects, including English Language and Core Mathematics, and Three (3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study.
  2. SSSCE Holders: CREDIT (A-D) in Six (6) subjects comprising Three (3) Core subjects, including English Language and Core Mathematics, and Three(3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study
  • Holders of TVET Qualifications: CREDIT in Three Core Subjects including English and Mathematics and PASSES in Three Elective Subjects relevant to the course of study.
  1. Candidates awaiting the MAY/JUNE, 2021 WASSCE and NABPTEX RESULTS can also apply.

B.Ed. FRENCH Credit(A1-C6) in Three (3)CORE subjects including English Language and  Mathematics and Three (3) Elective subjects including FRENCH. Credit (A-D) in Three (3) CORE subjects including English Language and  Mathematics and Three(3) Elective subjects including FRENCH.
B.Ed. TECHNICAL/VOCATIONAL(APPLICANTS WITH TVET QUALIFICATIONS) CREDIT in Three (3)CORE subjects including English Language and  Mathematics and PASSES inThree (3) Elective subjects relevant to the Technical/ Vocational Course.
