I Now Run a Network of 16 Africa’s Best Universities – Prof Ernest Aryeetey

The former Vice chancellor of University of Ghana Prof Ernest Aryeetey stated this morning that he now runs a network of 16 Africa’s best universities which have been carefully selected to promote research.
The former VC of University of Ghana made this revelation known on the Citi Breakfast Show when he was answering the question as to what he does now. Prof Ernest Aryeetey said his job basically is to run the network, make money for it and help young researchers to find ranks as well as help universities to develop PhD programmes in a collaborating manner.
The universities are carefully selected across the African continent including Ghana.
According to him, he is now leading the network which is based in South Africa from home. The main interest of the network lies in conducting research geared towards improving the African universities and the continent as a whole.
The vice chancellor of university of Ghana was speaking to the host of the Citi Breakfast show Bernard Avle this morning on his new book entitled “The Economy of Ghana” to be launched this evening
