I have for too long a time saddled my inner self with ever increasing number of questions that if indeed God did by some providential ordination appoint Ghana’s leaders into high places, are they in actuality performing their functions and serving the divine purposes that God had carved out for them at the time of their calling? I have lived through many uncomfortable years, a good fragment of which have been riddled by the curses of being led by the very men who cannot possess the supernatural gifting of tasking themselves with the wellbeing of other people but themselves and cannot but suffer the prospect of sacrificing even the tiniest bit of any resource they may possess in the interest of others with whom they have no blood relation.
Our society is one that adores leaders. T’is to say they have usurped the position of God and paramount amongst the many other things that we incessantly, through motion, speech and thought worship. Ghanaian leaders have become the contents found in legends. To say though that they deserve much commendation for the sake of their undaunted managerial tactics and undefiled love for the suffering masses will be gross inaccuracy for they have not the slightest bit of naturally inherent and humane compassion, no genetically hardwired responsiveness; they have stale empathy and no deep regard for the value of lives. Society’s behavior extended towards the terrible and inhumane leaders will despite the growth of logical reasoning, and the advancement in the claim of common sense remain unceasing. Ghanaians did, do and will continually lay love on their leaders for all the wrong reasons which will be reciprocated by a gingerly attitude to sacrifice, a renewed confidence in the ease of discharging duties and moreover an assuredness that since the mass have an unending love well extended towards the leader, nothing could be wrong, standing in the face of the reality that everything actually is wrong.
FEATURE ONE
The lying truth theory was coined by the adoption of my own God given wit to succinctly describe how conscious the masses are of the lies and falsity of anything these leaders have to say to us during their most desperate times of political campaigns within which period they employ their unparalleled prowess of disturbing deceit.
See, our highest political ability or if you like our naturally given franchise have with the passage of time grown devalued and inane. We can no longer exercise a unique power to expel wrong leaders and install good ones for the very reasons that all leaders have become same; rippling themselves in the dirt of corruption and dishonesty. NPP or NDC? What is the difference these days? We could by a democratic preferential vote cast or a sudden revolution instrumented by a bloody coup pass the sovereignty of our nations through the hands a thousand Ghanaian leaders and it will take the stroke of good fortune and the balance of luck for us to find just a single person who will be close to a model leader.
Hope is the food on which the Ghanaian illiterate thrive. This lying truth goes on repeatedly because the people are deprived of hope; none less than that. The suffering masses cannot even envision the slightest possibility of for once being as humans, a priority for their leaders. Since politicians can almost always feast on the many lies well wrapped in fine towels of verbosity and oratorically potent manifestoes at least until the next electorally decisive periods when the leaders require the favor of the good people of our crippling nation to reinstate them in financially sound political positions.

But our folks, our folks never really seem to be bothered much. Plans set forth by our leaders are those that have always lacked one thing: its ability to come alive. Hope is the cad on which we ruminate, and that cad has been continually poisoned and hope, disappointed by our leaders from the first black president till the present. Our consciences are being auctioned for sufficient power and these pricy megalomaniacs have munched the nutritious fodder of the Ghanaian tropics as we sit under wilting trees re-eating our cad; our horrid undigested food.
DOWN2
Despite our knowledge of this harm and damage posed by our leaders, we will increasingly cheer them on and elevated them to high places and positions where they can effectively play mischief and continually undermine our power to make or break them.
