The office of the Dean of Students Affairs has notified all halls, clubs and associations not to invite students from other universities into the University of Ghana without the prior approval of his office 2 clear weeks before.
Per this new directive and as part of measures to curb the increasing incidence of clashes between the University of Ghana and sister Universities in recent times, no group of Students, societies, Associations and Unions from the University of Ghana should visit any sister University without permission from the Dean of Students Affairs.
Also, no group of students societies, associations and unions should invite any group from outside to the University of Ghana without permission from the Dean of Students Affairs.
If the need arises for students to invite or visit, organizers should seek permission from the Dean of Students Affairs with the list of names, index numbers and contacts of participants through the Hall Master /Senior Tutor, Head of Department and Patron two weeks before the event.
