Nana Addo was originally scheduled to take his turn on the platform on July 5.
The announcement, which came via the IEA’s twitter account, did not give a reason for the postponement. The IEA has however said it will communicate a new date for the programme soon.

The presidential candidates of the People’s National Congress (PNC) and the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Dr. Edward Mahama and Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, have already taken their turn on the platform over the past two weeks.

The IEA Evening Encounter series is a platform designed for political parties and their flag-bearers to interact with a cross-section of Ghanaians through Civil Society and other interest-group representation ahead of the general elections.

After each presentation, representatives of the various civil society groups will pose direct questions, seek clarifications or comment on the presentation.
