#GIJDecides: Vetting of aspirants commence

Ahead of the 2018 Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) Students Representative Council (SRC) elections, the Electoral Commission of the SRC, has begun the vetting of aspirants who have picked and submitted forms to contest for the various position in the forthcoming SRC election.
The vetting, which begun on Thursday, April 19, 2018 is scheduled to end on Saturday, April 21st, 2018.
On Thursday, Women’s Commissioner and Financial Secretary aspirants took their turn at the vetting.
Those vying for the Organizing Secretary and External Affairs portfolios will take their turn on Friday, April 20th.
General Secretary, as well as Presidential aspirants will take their turn at the vetting on Saturday, 21st April, 2018.
The 2018 SRC elections of the Ghana Institute of Journalism is expected to be held in May, 2018.
This year’s election will see who will take over from the Martin Thompson Ntem led administration.
