A 2018 Ghana Institute of Journalism SRC presidential aspirant, Mr. Orlando S. Tettey, yesterday evening relieved about 30 students from the burden of paying GHC 1.00 as shuttle fare from the school to Kwame Nkrumah Circle.

At about 7:50PM yesterday Wednesday, whilst students were seated, with the driver ready to receive the fare, Mr. Orlando Tettey entered the shuttle and told the driver he was bearing the cost.
Some students, who were thrilled by his act of kindness, were full of praise for him. However, some regarded it as a mere political gimmick.
Speaking to the students after his kind gesture, he reiterated his commitment to serving the student’s interest when elected into office.
The total cost borne by Mr. Tettey was GHC 35.00.
