GIJ students rejoice over extension of reopening date

A wide section of students of the Ghana Institute of Journalism are in jubilant mood following the rescheduling of date for the commencement of lectures.

Initially, lectures was scheduled to start on Monday August 20, 2018 but information from the Students Representative Council indicate a postponement in the academic activity.

The new date for the commencement of academic activity for the 2018/2019 academic year for continuing students of the Institute is Monday 27th August, 2018.

However, the dates for online registration for the semester, remains unchanged.

RESCHEDULING OF DATE FOR FOR COMMENCEMENT OF LECTURES

Continuing students are by this notice informed of a change in date for the commencement of lectures.

Kindly note that lectures will now begin on 27th August, 2018. We entreat all continuing students to take note of this change.

However, the dates for online registration for the semester, remains unchanged.
