Management of the Ghana Institute of Journalism is expected to justify their decision to upwardly adjust tuition fees by Monday June 25, 2018 following a crucial meeting it held with the school’s students front today.
Since the school’s management published a notice of an increase in fees for the 2018/2019 academic year, students of the communication school have expressed outrage and have lashed out at the school’s management for being inconsiderate.

Yesterday, the school’s SRC released a statement, assuring students that it was working assiduously to have the issue checked to reach an acceptable conclusion with the school’s management in a meeting scheduled for today Friday, April 22nd, 2018.
Hours after the meeting, the SRC, in a statement signed by its General-Secretary, Ms. Naa Adoley Moffatt, confirmed the fears of students; an increment in fees in the next academic year.
According to the statement, the earlier publication of fees to be paid in the forth coming academic year was unauthorized, premature and filled with errors, hence, not conclusive.
