The next thing you should be worrying about after checking your admission list is how to register for the halls and hostels on campus. We bring you a step by step guide as to how to get your residential registration done with ease.
The Online Residence Allocation System shall be opened to all admitted Students to the Main Campus in the coming days. We will let you know as soon as it is opened.
All students who have been admitted at full time Legon campus and Korle Bu Campus are required to make residential application online.
However, students who wish to stay out of campus should simply select non-residence during the online application process.
When the residential registration portal is opened for registration, the student would be required to input his University of Ghana index number (Stated in the admission letter) before getting access to the registration portal.
You are required to select a hall or hostel of your choice, select a room number and then submit. Accepted applicants are to print the confirmation letter and then proceed to make payment of at least 50% of the residential fees.
Students are to take note that, due to the high load of applicants expected to register, the registration portal may sometimes be jammed. In such situation, the affected student is require to just try loading the page again until they get access.
All University fees payable by students are to be paid to appropriate University account numbers at designated banks. For the 2017/2018 Academic Year, payments of all University Fees should be made through the Standard Chartered Bank or  ECOBANK Limited or any other bank stated in the admission letter.
After printing out their provisional letter of admission, students are required to pay their University Fees through any Branch office of the Standard Chartered Bank or ECOBANK Limited to University of Ghana Students’ Fee Collection Account.
