UNISA Department of Economics

We are the biggest Economics Department in South Africa with about 30000 students per semester taught by 40 members of staff who are experts in distance education, some with up to 30 years of teaching experience. The department has a well-earned reputation of providing our students with an excellent service.

Economics is one of the core disciplines in all BCom degrees. The department offers undergraduate, postgraduate and certificate programmes.
