UL Optometry, It one of the departments in the School of Health Care Sciences under the Faculty of Health Sciences in the University of Limpopo. The department has over 40 years of existence and is the first Optometry department in the country to offer a degree programme in Optometry. It was found in 1975 under the then University of the North.
