National Student Financial Aid Scheme is inviting applications for the 2018 academic year. Grade 12 pupils and post-matrics may submit applications. The National Student Financial Aid Scheme Student Centred Model has been live from 1 August. However, students who were not previously funded or not funded in 2016 will only be able to apply from 1 September.

Applications close on 30 November.
“All new applications (matriculants) must be submitted directly to National Student Financial Aid Scheme online (www.nsfas.org.za). Students who have never received National Student Financial Aid Scheme funding must apply online. All students who were previously funded by National Student Financial Aid Scheme and are not funded in 2016 must apply online.

“All students who have signed their Loan Agreement Forms (LAF) or Schedule of Particulars (SOP) for 2016 and are currently receiving National Student Financial Aid Scheme funding do not have to reapply. Funding will be granted provided the funded student meets the National Student Financial Aid Scheme academic requirements,” said National Student Financial Aid Scheme.

All paper application forms can be sent to National Student Financial Aid Scheme Head Office in Cape Town either by email to [email protected]. For more information, applicants can contact National Student Financial Aid Scheme Offices on 0860 067 327 (share call) or www.nsfas.org.za.
