NMMU Off Campus Accommodation, Off-Campus Accommodation offers alternative accommodation for students who are not able to secure space in on-campus residences, and take the form of accredited large properties (more than 20 beds) or small properties (less than 20 beds).
The Off-Campus Housing Office (OCHO) accredits accommodation that is within walking distance from the University or that is on the route of Nelson Mandela University’s shuttle services.
The range of flats, apartments, houses and communal residences all comply with the minimum standards as set by the University Accreditation policy.
Students must all apply via the Off-Campus Housing Office (OCHO) for all off-campus residences. A database of all accredited properties is made available to interested applicants.
