Nimo Construction and Trading Enterprises Limited was registered in 1990 as a Limited Liability company, with Mr. E. N. Assamany a Chartered Civil Engineer, as the principal promoter.
The company’s main objective is to provide quality Building and Civil Engineering Services at an affordable price to its clients and the nation as a whole and contribute positively to the development of Sierra Leone. We also engage in the importation, distribution and sale of building materials and general goods.
Within over 20 years of existence, the company has developed an excellent reputation among it’s (Private and Public) clients for the construction of large and small projects. It has executed various Building and Civil Engineering projects across the country. (See table 1.2 for list of key projects undertaken).
Prominent among our Building Projects are the newly constructed Medical Store at New England Ville, the Goderich Fishing Complex, 4-storey C.I.D. Building at Pademba Road in Freetown, NASSIT Western Area, the Rehabilitated Law Courts Building. The Ministry of Defence Building, the Kenema Multipurpose Court House, the Kissy Mental and Kabala Government Hospitals, to name a few.
In the Road Construction sector, some of our recent works includes the Pendembu – Koindu feeder road 21km, the Bunumbu – Koidu Gravel Road 17km, and the Kabala – Korunbola Gravel Road, 20km. We are currently rehabilitating 80km of Gravel Roads in the Kenema District under the supervision of the Sierra Leone Roads Authority and European Union financing, and have recently been awarded the contract to design and construct a 20.8 km Road in Port Loko District for London Mining Company.
To handle so many diverse tasks, the company has built up an extremely adaptable and motivated staff with representation from different educational and practical backgrounds and disciplines (see table 1.1 for list of key personnel).
