Welcome to the Narh-Bita College. This institution begun as a nursing school in 2004. Over the years, the growth of the school inspired the proprietors to expand its facilities leading to the establishment of the Narh-Bita College on the 6th of February, 2008.

Narhbita School of Nursing Application Process

  • Purchase a voucher for 200GH from GCB or ADB
  • Visit ‘healthtraining.gov.gh’
  • Click on apply located on top of this page
  • Enter serial and pin found on the voucher
  • Fill the form with your details
  • Attach certificate/s and photo
  • Submit and print out application summary
  • Regularly check your application status with pin and serial.

Narhbita School of Nursing Admission Requirements

 (A) Applicants with SSSCE certificates must have total aggregate of twenty-four
(24) or better in six(6) subjects, comprising: A – D in THREE CORE SUBJECTS- i.e. English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science and AT LEAST Credit in  (3) Elective subjects in any of the following:

  • Elective Mathematics      II. Biology       III. Physics     IV. Chemistry      

 (B)   Applicants with WASSCE Results must obtain a minimum of six (6) Credit Passes (i.e. A1 –C6) in three (3) Core Subjects i.e. English, Mathematics and Integrated Science.and in  (3) Elective subjects in any of the following:

  • Elective Mathematics      II. Biology       III. Physics     IV. Chemistry

C) MATURE APPLICANTS (EVENING AND WEEKEND)
Must:

  • Be at least 25 years and above at the time of application.
  • Pass an entrance examination to be conducted by the College
  • Pass a selection interview.
  • Have a minimum of three years of relevant work experience.

Mature applicants include:

  • DIPLOMA HOLDERS

Candidates with Diploma certificate in Nursing from recognized institutions with a minimum GPA of 2.50 and a pass in the licensure examination conducted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council will be admitted to third year. (NB: No Entrance Examination)

  • OTHER CANDIDATES
  • Holders of Diploma in Nursing Education/Administration with a minimum of B+ average. (enter the programme in third year)
  • State Registered Nurses (enter the programme in second year)

Health Assistants, Community, or Enrolled Nurse and non-nurse mature candidates (enter the programme in first year) must obtain a minimum of six (6) Credit Passes (i.e. A1 –C6) in three (3) Core subjects and three (3) Elective subjects in the following options; Science, General Arts, Agriculture Programme and Home Economic with a total aggregate of Thirty Six (36) or better.

MODE OF APPLICATION
Application forms for admission may be purchased at the GENERAL OFFICE, Narh-Bita College Main Campus (near Narh-Bita Hospital, Tema) or Adom Campus at Community five (5) opposite St. Pauls Methodist Church, for a non-refundable fee of GH¢100.00. Alternatively, the Application forms can be downloaded from the college’s website at www.narhbita.com.gh and pay processing fee on submission. Completed application forms with certified copies of relevant supporting documents should be sent to:
