President John Dramani Mahama has expressed sympathy at the passing of boxing legend Muhammad Ali.
Ali, born Cassius Marcellus Clay, died on Friday, June 3, a family spokesperson confirmed.
He was nicknamed ‘The Greatest’ due to his exploits in the noble art of self-defence.
Ghana’s leader took to Twitter to pay tribute to the three-time world heavyweight champion, endorsing him as “our hero”.
“Sad to hear the passing of Muhammad Ali,” President Mahama tweeted on Saturday, June 4.
