John Mahama Cute President John Dramani Mahama

National Organiser of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has responded to the Flagbearer of the largest opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo that President John Dramani Mahama can boldly shout ‘E Dey Bee’ because he has worked to satisfaction.

The Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has criticised President John Mahama for what according to him is the lack of meaningful message in the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s 2016 campaign.

Addressing a gathering at the Asesewa market, in the Upper Manya constituency of the Eastern Region, Nana Akufo-Addo said he will not join the fray to put out a meaningless message like ‘e dey be k?k?’ – which means ‘life is good’.

“Our message is about bringing jobs to the people of Ghana, reviving our economy, improving our agriculture, diversifying our agriculture, that is the business we are coming to do,” said the NPP’s 2016 presidential candidate on Friday, July 1.

But Kofi Adams on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ Morning Show has pooh-poohed the critics of Nana Akufo-Addo saying that he (Nana Akufo-Addo) cannot shout ‘e dey be k?k?’ because he has not done anything even in his constituency worthy of mentioning.

He however averred that President John Mahama’s unprecedented record of achievements in the country can afford him the courage to shout the mantra ‘e dey be k?k?’; as he can boast of road constructions, infrastructural developments, water projects, Komenda Sugar Factory, Kumasi Shoe Factory and other social interventions.

“Nana Akufo-Addo cannot shout ‘e dey be k?k?’ because he has not done anything when he was serving as MP and a Cabinet Minister, but President Mahama has done unprecedented work for Ghanaians . . . Mahama can go to Abuakwa in the Eastern Region to shout ‘e dey be k?k?’ because he has provided water for the people over there; he can boldly shout the mantra.”
