KNUST Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Entry Requirements
i. SSCE APPLICANTS
Passes in THREE (3) Core subjects (English, Mathematics and Integrated Science) plus
passes in THREE (3) Elective subjects: Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics.
ii. A – Level Applicants
Candidates must have the General Certificate of Education at Ordinary Level in five (5) subjects, including English and Mathematics, in addition to: Chemistry, Physics and Biology; or General Science, Additional General Science and any other subjects plus the General Certificate of Education at Advanced Level or its equivalent in the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry and Physics/ Mathematics.
iii. MATURE APPLICANTS
Applicants must have obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Dispensing Technology from a recognized institution with at least two years working experience.
OR
Applicants must have attained the age of 25 years at the time of submitting the application
forms AND must have
EITHER
Five (5) credits at O – Level including English Language and Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
OR
Passes in SSSCE Core Subjects (English, Mathematics and Integrated Science) plus passes in THREE (3) Elective subjects: Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics. Short-listed applicants must pass an interview.
