Berekum Chelsea captain, Sadick Adams insists his major target for the season is to fire his side to a Top 4 finish rather than end up as top scorer.
The former national youth star has scored seven goals at the halfway stage of the season and is in the running for the top scorer award with the impending exit of leader Yahaya Mohammed (11 goals) to Mexico.
“I am really enjoying my time at Berekum Chelsea; I am not thinking about being the goal king. My target is to help Chelsea to finish in the top four or the top six,” Adams told footballmadeinghana in an interview
“I know is not going to be easy, but we have the quality to do that. I don’t want the case where I win the goal king and the club will be suffering; I am not interested in the goal king,”
“We will take the second round game by game and see what happens,” he added.
