Former chairman of the Ghana Athletics Association George Lutterodt has lashed out at the current management for suspending youth Olympic Gold medalist Martha Bissah.
The GAA on Tuesday noted that they have suspended the young athlete indefinitely following an act of indiscipline which is contrary to their code of conducts.
But George Lutterodt believes the Professor Doodo led administration are not managing their relationship with Bissah well.
“First of all Martha is a Ghanaian and entitled to due process and you do not sack people or give them indefinite suspension without due process,” he told Joy Sports
“The GAA is not above the law and if you do something that is illegal you will face the legal consequences, individually and collectively so they should be very careful.
“They are there to serve the athletes and not the other way round, the GAA are the servants and the Athletes are the kings.
“So if you cannot serve them then you have no business been there.”
