Beleaguered national chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Paul Afoko, and other suspended national executives of the party must reconsider their court case against the party and return ahead of the 2016 elections, according to the Minority Leader.

Kwabena Agyepong, general secretary of the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition and Sammy Crabbe, the first vice chairman of the NPP were also suspended in addition to Afoko for allegedly working against the fortunes of the party.

Crabbe has lost his case against the NPP while Afoko’s case is still ongoing, hoping to be reinstated to his position.

Speaking on the issue, the Minority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu said it is about time the trio smoked the peace pipe with the main opposition party to wrestle power from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the 2016 elections.
