Familiarisation Visit To Ktu

The Acting Executive Secretary of the National Board for Professional and Technician Examinations (NABPTEX), Mrs. Sheila Naah-Boamah paid a working visit to Koforidua Technical University (KTU) on Tuesday, 20th June, 2017 to familiarise with the operations of the University and also to introduce herself as the newly appointed Executive Secretary of NABPTEX.

She was accompanied by Mr. John Jonathan Afetorgbor, Head of Department for Curriculum Development and Research and her Personal Assistant Mr. Vincent Yao Azoru.

Mrs. Naah-Boamah who met with the Management and staff of the University commended the University for the good work done over the years and urged staff to do their work diligently and with professionalism.

Mrs. Naah-Boamah and her team held discussions with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof (Mrs.) Smile Dzisi and her Management team. The discussions mainly focused on procedure for accreditation of programmes and curriculum development.

While the University called on NABPTEX to collaborate with the National Accreditation Board (NAB) to harmonise curricular for Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes, NABPTEX on the other hand advised the University to route its curriculum accreditation through NABPTEX to NAB.
