Wits Application Closing Date, Applications for Masters and PhD degrees by research may be lodged at any time during the year for a limited number of Schools and candidature may commence at any of the four registration periods during the year mainly, January, April, July and September.

Diplomas, Honours & Masters by coursework
Most coursework degrees (Diplomas, Honours & Masters by coursework) candidates may only register in January of every academic year. Certain departments may offer programmes in July and applicants are advised to check with the Student Call Centre: +27 (0)11 717 1888 or log a call at https://www.wits.ac.za/askwits, alternatively you may contact the appropriate Faculty
