- Words and sentences: simple, compound, and complex; subject and predicate
- The leitmotif: a case study
- Rules and exceptions of poetry writing:
- Metaphor,
- Form and content of a poem,
- Praise poetry, Free verse, Epiphanic moments,
- The Sonnet, the Ballad,
- Parody, Allegory and Satire
