Obstetrics and Gynaecology And Fetal Medicine
The fundamental objectives of the Department is to graduate students who are aware of the personal qualities and attitudes required in the care of women, and to develop the capacity of health professions towards the realisation of the Millennium Development Goal 5 (MDG 5). This is achieved through didactic lectures on the core syllabus of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The students are also taken through practical and skills training sections, including, bed-side teaching and attending out-patient clinics in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
