KNUST School of Medical Sciences Bsc Medicine Bsc Surgery (MB ChB)

The MB.ChB. Programme has a criteria for propective students to satisfy to be eligible for the programme. This is generally a pass in the B.Sc. (Human Biology) KNUST or other specified by the School.
The student must have passed the B.Sc. (Human Biology) KNUST or shall have an equivalent qualification.
The student shall be of good standing in the University. Upon the recommendation of the School Board, a student may be required to undergo a health assessment before admission into the MB,ChB Programme.
For such a case, the School Board shall make the final determination.
Equivalent Qualification
When a student does not satisfy criterion 1.1 (above) because he/she has trained elsewhere, this can be regarded as equivalent to the B.Sc.(Human Biology) as an entry qualification, if: A full pre-clinical training, or a BSc (Human Biology) degree from a University with a relevant degree programme, acceptable to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, has been successfully completed, and  The School Board approves the qualifications of each applicant individually.
