. SCHOOL OF MEDICINE AND HEALTH SCIENCES
The school of Medicine and Health Sciences offers courses in:

  • Medicine (MBChB) (6-year programme)
  • BSc Community Nutrition (4– Year Programme)
  • BSc. Nurse Practitioner (3-Year programme)
  • BSc. Nursing (3/4-Year programme)

SSSC/WASSC
SSSC/WASSC holders seeking admission to the MBChB, Community Nutrition and BSc Nursing programmes must have passes/credits in:

  • Three core subjects (not lower than grade C6), namely English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science;
  • Any three elective subjects (not lower than grade B3) from the Science Programme with an overall aggregate of 36 (WASSC Scale) or better in the six subjects.

DEGREE HOLDERS
BSc. Certificate holders in the relevant science field would be admitted to pursue MBChB as full fee-paying students.
BSc. Nurse Practitioner Programme
The BSc Nurse Practitioner programme is a 3-4 year degree programme. Candidates wishing to pursue this programme are required to possess the following:

  • GCE ‘O’ Level or SSSC/WASSC and
  • Be a state Registered Nurse with at least three (3) years experience.
Results of First attempt are to be written under the area marked 1st.
Applicants will be expected to successfully pass a selection interview to be conducted by the University.
