Community Medicine
The goal of the department is to equip our students with public health skills required to address the common health problems in Ghana and beyond. The department contributes to teaching and research both at the pre-clinical and clinical levels. The department particularly play frontline roles in the organisation of community rotations and the community based experience and service (COBES) programme which form part of the medical training.
The Department will continue to contribute significantly to teaching, research, and provision of student services in the School of Medical Sciences in the coming years.
