University of South Africa Registrar

Registrar: Academic, Enrolments and Administration

The University Registrar is responsible for student administration and institutional governance.

The Registrar is the official secretary of the University Senate and Council, and the Registrar’s Office takes functional responsibility for the administration of all official Committees. There is an additional duty that is linked to the University of South Africa Registrar’s Office which is the Music Directorate.
The Registrar’s Office may, quite appropriately, be described as the axis upon which a University turns.

At University of South Africa, these functions include: Student admissions and registrations, Student assessment administration, Graduation & Records Management.
In performing his functions, the Registrar at University of South Africa is assisted by the Deputy Registrar
