22-years KNUST students won the incumbent in NPP primaries

A level 200 student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology ( KNUST ) contested the New Patriotic Party’s ( NPP ) parliamentary primaries and won the current MP and two other candidates to represent the people on the NPP’s ticket. The Kwabre East constituency seat in the Ashanti region is predominantly an NPP seat and anyone one who seals through the primaries is highly assured of representing the people in parliament.
Francisca Oteng Mensah is currently a second year law student of KNUST and a former student of St. Rose’s senior high school. She polled a total of 321 votes to beat the incumbent Member of Parliament Kofi Frimpong who secured a total of 187 votes. Lawyer Osei-Poku also polled 202 to come second and Adjei Sefa was only able to secure 33 votes in the competition.
Francisca Oteng Mensah will represent the people of Kwabre East constituency in parliament in case she is able to seal through in the 2016 general election.
